Mission Statement
Children First of North Carolina, CFNC, aims to reduce the burdens of healthcare for children in our great state. Navigating and accessing healthcare services is challenging and overwhelming when living at poverty level. CFNC formed in order to use state derived funds to build an in house CFNC Care Management team that strives to educate and support families where they are, in the patient care environment. We strive to eliminate barriers to services. We work alongside affected communities and other organizations to come up with solutions to improving children’s health. CFNC assists our patient’s families with health education, transportation assistance in addition to Medicaid transportation, Care gap closures, vaccination tracking, healthcare prevention, farmer’s market vouchers, nonperishable food, clothing, school supplies, baby care items in addition to formula, Triple P Parenting and crisis assistance.
CFNC has formed with one thought in mind, a child’s welfare. The systems of whole child health delivery are often strained leaving many children without access to quality services, nourishment, education and so much more. Our stated desire is to provide children with complete care. This can only happen through proper resource allocation that is 100% dedicated to them. In the end, we would strive to increase a child’s opportunity.

Who are we?
